Junior Engineers (aged 4 – 6) spend a busy morning at the Museum (9:30 am – 11:30 am).
Senior Station Masters (aged 7 – 11) come by in the afternoon for some big kid fun! (1 pm – 3 pm).
Monday, Working on the Railroad: learn about railway jobs, craft your own uniform, and build track!
Tuesday, Structures, Gears, & Signals, Oh My!: Build bridges and learn trackside communication.
Wednesday, Cabooses and Locomotives: Explore the trains, climb into the caboose and discover the differences between a diesel and steam engine.
Thursday, The Story of Our Station: Learn about the station, its restoration, and touch the artifacts!
Friday, Polar Express: Wear your pajamas and sip hot cocoa. Junior Engineers will listen to the story of The Polar Express and make a craft. Senior Station Masters try their hand at designing their own comic book based on the classic story.
