Transportation-themed games, crafts, experiments and other activities featuring food, fitness, history, and fun!
Date & Time:
March 16 – 20
9 am to 4 pm (drop-off starting at 8:30 am; pick-up by 4:30 pm)
*Note: early drop-off and late pick-up times can be arranged.
Ages 4 – 7 and 8 – 12
Tentative themes (guest speakers and trips currently being confirmed):
Monday: By Land! – Discover some very cool vehicles used around town.
Tuesday: By Rail! – Includes a trip to the Railway Museum to explore the trains.
Wednesday: By Air! – Includes a visit from a local airplane pilot.
Thursday: By Water! – Includes a visit from staff at the Rideau Canal Visitors Centre.
Friday: On Four Legs! – Learn all about how animals around the world help with transportation.
Camp will take place at The Ivy on William, with some off-site visits to other locations.
