Stories from the railway

Stories from the Railway

Stories from the Railway, a series presented by the Railway Museum in Smiths Falls and Lake 88.1 Radio continues on June 27th at 7:00pm.

Join us for our last evening of ‘stories’ as we celebrate the lives of the people who worked on the railway.

On June 27th, we welcome Tony Humphrey and Bob Arnold.  The two retired CPR Engineers will share stories of working during a time of major changes in the railway that saw women join the trade as well as the disappearance of the caboose.

Admission is $8 each evening.  Tickets can be purchased at the museum in advance or at the door.  This event is aimed at an adult audience.

Stories from the Railway is a special program offered by the museum as part of the Canadian Northern Railway Station 100th anniversary celebrations.
