New this year, the museum is hosting Trainfest – After Dark. Beginning at 7 pm in the Rideau Canal Visitor Centre theatre, join us for an evening of music and storytelling – with a railway theme.

What is Trainfest - After Dark?
Tainfest - After Dark is an intimate evening featuring great music and storytelling with a railway theme. Set in the Visitor Centre Theatre sit back and enjoy music and storytelling. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
Where is the Rideau Canal Visitor Centre?
The Visitor Centre is located at 34 Beckwith Street South in Smiths Falls.
Parking is available along Beckwith St. and any side streets. Please note that the parking lot at the venue is quite small and does not hold many vehicles. Feel free to give us a call if you would like directions for parking.
Who will be there?
We are pleased to welcome back the Jimmy Tri- Tone Band who will be headlining our event. Joining them is Jared Lutes. Storytellers will share real-life stories of railroaders as well as personalities in Smiths Falls
What is the cost?
If you visit us during the day at the museum for Trainfest, just keep your bracelet and admission to the 'After Dark' event is FREE. Otherwise, tickets are $10 and can be purchased ahead of time at eventbrite. Seating is limited, so get your tickets early!
