The Easter Eggspress

📅 Saturday, April 19 and Sunday April 20, 2025   ⌚ 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Bring the whole family for the Easter Eggspress. Enjoy a ride in one of our vintage cabooses, visit our petting zoo, pony rides and enjoy our exploring our BRAND NEW CHILDREN’S S.T.E.A.M. CAR! There will be other activities including a scavenger hunt, bunny face painting, train tables, and an Easter craft.

Our rolling stock exhibits will be open such as our 1899-era Dining Car, Snow Plow, Boxcar, and Vintage Cabooses. Get up close and personal with our 1112 Steam Engine, 6591 Diesel Engine, our Cadillac Inspection CarWickham Inspection Vehicles, and our little Green Switcher.

Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea in the Dining Car

Step back in time for a one-of-a-kind afternoon tea experience aboard our exquisite 1899-era Canadian National dining car.
 
Savor finely cut sandwiches, freshly baked scones with rich cream and strawberry preserve, followed by an array of delightful afternoon teacakes and pastries. Choose from our selection of gourmet teas while soaking in the elegant ambiance of our beautifully restored, century-old dining car.
 
Join us for this unforgettable journey through history and indulge in an afternoon tea like no other.

Hallow’s Express

Join us for a magical wizarding event, The Hallow’s Express. 

Experience a magical adventure like no other. Dress up in your favorite costume and hop aboard The Hallow’s Express. Then immerse yourself in the wizarding world of the RMEO station, meet faculty members, get sorted into your houses, buy a chocolate frog from the trolley witch, get your acceptance letter, brew a potion, and snap a pic going through Station 9 3/4. Be ready to fight the dark arts!

Get ready for a journey to the heart of the holidays as we present the 2024 North Pole Express! It’s time to embrace the magic of the season and create cherished memories with family and friends.
 
 Step into a world of wonder as you board our festively decorated vintage trains. Santa Claus himself will be waiting to greet children and for professional photos in our 1899 Dining Car. Don’t forget to bring your wish lists; Santa’s elves will ensure your messages reach the North Pole from our telegraph office via Santa-gram.

The fun doesn’t stop with the train ride. Explore our holiday station and the Museum grounds, featuring crackling fire-pits, carolers, warm refreshments, face-painting, reindeer games, vendors and more.
